It all started as a hobby, an experiment to learn how to make jewelry out of wax hand sculptures, and it ended being the best way to express myself giving real value to my creations.

Art, especially for hand made objects, has always been a main topic of my life. I started at 8 doing Origami and I delivered this wonderful discipline for almost 20 years, spending hours and days on single projects trying giving them the more organic feeling possible out of a simple piece of paper. It was also my first encounter with the oriental culture, one of my biggest inspiration.

I switched my interest in clay sculptures at 26 trying different materials and different subjects. I mostly created diorama of my favourite Anime and Videogames trying also to paint them.

At 27, thanks to a class held by Gianmarco Fontana, creator of Armada Art Jewels in my city, Brescia, I was able to learn a new sculpting technique and a new world, jewelry. The idea of sculpting things following my own will and aesthetic and giving them even more value by transforming prototypes into precious metal items, got me immediately excited.

KaijuLab concept was born at the very end of 2021, becoming a reality in 2023 after two years of studying and training. Everything you see here is done by hand and for me it's way more than a job. It's the necessity to express myself.
